The 2005 Events Calendar will be available soon. Below is a listing of the 2004 events. Below are the courses we will be offering in the coming year. As program dates get closer an on-line brochure will be available as well as a PDF version for printing. Brochures from prior programs will be left up throughout the year for your information. Washington, DC Metro Area April 14: Compliance Program Assessment Compliance programs should be assessed annually. Most organizations conduct some assessments internally while setting guidelines for other assessments conducted by external resources. This course covers how to assess your organization's program and how to provide leadership to external assessments. April 15: Strategies for Compliance Risk Reduction While compliance programs have many purposes, the key purpose is to reduce the level of compliance risk to which the organization is exposed. This course focuses on specific strategies which reduce the risk of false claims being filed and government actions being initiated. April 16: Building a Culture of Compliance Corporate compliance is more about culture change than meeting technical requirements. This program explains the techniques for creating a culture of compliance, while addressing day-to-day compliance risks and normal program challenges.	*Get to Know the Best in Compliance Education with this One Time* Special Offer. Washington, DC Metro Area July 21: Conducting Compliance Investigations No topic presents more problems for compliance officers and their organizations than conducting compliance investigations. This program covers everything you need to know in legal and practical terms to conduct effective compliance investigations. July 22: Legal Issues Boot Camp 04 This intensive program takes compliance officers from both plans and providers inside those legal issues of most concern to compliance officers. New and emerging issues are covered as well as older issues of significant complexity. July 23: IROs and Voluntary Audits When your organization is required to retain an Independent Review Organization, what issues should you consider in making a selection and setting guidelines for the process? How much should the audit cost? This program addresses these questions with respect to both mandated and voluntary audits. Conducted in a vendor free environment, this program promotes learning from those whose programs have been recognized for excellence by peers.
